honor your parents!

Proverbs 1:8

Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.

Proverbs 23:22

Listen to your father, who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.

Do we show our parents the respect they deserve and obey them? It is the LORD's command that we honour them, even in their old age. We should avoid bringing the LORD's judgment upon ourselves by disrespecting or dishonoring them. The Word of GOD warns us that what we sow today, we will reap one day.
