Absent from body and present with the Lord

Luke 23:42-43

Then he (one of the criminals) said to JESUS, “LORD, remember me when YOU come into YOUR kingdom.” And JESUS said to him, “ASSUREDLY, I SAY TO YOU, TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE.”

Many people fear death because they are uncertain about what happens after they die. However, a person who has given his life to CHRIST does not have to fear death. The moment he passes away, he will be with the LORD for all eternity. Since we are unsure of when our time will come, let us always hold on to the confidence of eternal life through our faith in JESUS CHRIST.
